What I’ve Learned from a Decade of Journaling

I pictured my life to be something that would just happen and I would never remember again. I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea that people in my life had their own experiences and secrets and things they’ve learned without anyone else’s help. I wanted to know all the secrets the adults knew because I wanted to be prepared for “the best years of my life” which were then- high school- and now, my 20s.
